Who publishes this site
Ohio Training Data publishes the guides and analysis on this website. Learn about the initiative and Jim Ford’s background in the team section. An organizational byline identifies the publisher; it does not imply a named expert has personally reviewed every article. We do not invent reviewer credentials or endorsements.
Evidence, interpretation and examples
News analysis links to original announcements, documentation or research where available. Publication dates and event dates are distinguished. A company’s announcement is evidence of what it said, not independent confirmation of every claim. Our interpretation explains what a development could mean for data owners; it is not a promise of buyer demand.
Illustrations are identified as such. We do not publish company identities from assessment submissions or use private pipeline information as public case studies. Our assessment-methodology examples are fictional.
Amounts need context
An investment, acquisition budget, advertised category and completed licensing payment are different things. We label disclosed amounts accordingly and do not invent undisclosed pricing. Our screening categories organize follow-up; they do not establish a transaction value. Read the methodology and commercial disclosures.
Updates and corrections
We update guidance when the underlying evidence or our process changes. Updated dates should reflect substantive changes. If you spot a factual error, send the page URL, the concern and a supporting source to melanie@ohiotrainingdata.com. We can review and correct the relevant page.
Your next step stays yours
Reading the guides requires no registration. An assessment submission permits the follow-up described on the form; it does not authorize publishing your identity, sharing business records or adding you to a newsletter. Any data review or proposed licensing arrangement needs a defined scope.
