Ohio Training Data’s role
Ohio Training Data is a business outreach initiative helping Ohio businesses explore potential data-licensing opportunities through Troveo. Jim Ford is behind the initiative, as described on our homepage. Our website provides educational content, an illustrative calculator, and links to an external assessment. Contact melanie@ohiotrainingdata.com with questions.
Ohio Training Data is not a State of Ohio agency. Professional affiliations mentioned in a team biography describe that person’s background; they do not by themselves establish an endorsement or identify another organization as the operator of this website.
Troveo referral relationship
We may receive compensation from Troveo for qualifying referrals. Our assessment links include the referral code ohiotrainingdata, and blog links include campaign tags identifying the article and placement. This lets the destination identify our referral.
We have a commercial interest in referrals through these links. Our discussion of Troveo should be read with that relationship in mind. We do not promise an assessment outcome, acceptance, a licensing agreement, or earnings. Any fees, revenue share, and payment terms that apply to your business should be confirmed in the proposed commercial agreement.
Troveo hosts the assessment and has its own Privacy Policy. Opening a link or completing an assessment is separate from agreeing to license business data.
Revenue examples and the calculator
The homepage’s revenue ranges, including the $500k–$4M headline, describe illustrative potential across multiple licensing deals. They are not observed earnings of Ohio Training Data customers, typical outcomes, valuations, or guaranteed offers. Some businesses may not qualify or may earn nothing.
The calculator uses preset scenario ranges based on company-size bands, adjusted by selected history and system-count factors. It does not inspect your records, test your rights, measure data quality, or query buyer demand. Its output is independent of Troveo’s assessment.
Illustrative amounts do not establish net proceeds after any preparation costs, platform charges, revenue shares, or taxes that may apply. Actual terms require verification and negotiation. Do not budget or make financing decisions using a calculator output as expected income.
Facts, sources, and examples
Our blog links to sources for market and technical claims. A platform-reported payout total, AI-adoption statistic, or economic-output figure provides context; it does not predict the value of your company’s data. Forecasts remain forecasts, and figures refer to the periods identified in the articles.
Examples are illustrative unless expressly identified as documented case studies. Articles reflect information available when reviewed and can become outdated. For a decision involving data rights, privacy, taxes, or contract terms, seek qualified advice for your circumstances.
